Sudan Unlimited

GGF served as the fiscal sponsor for Sudan Unlimited, which was founded by Esther Sprague.

Sudan Unlimited seeks to support all Sudanese and Southern Sudanese in their efforts to secure and enjoy freedom, justice, equality, democracy, peace and prosperity through advocacy in the U.S. and development projects in South Sudan.

In 2003, GGF was introduced to Sudan by Mamer Kuer Ajak, one of the Lost Boys of Sudan who attended Point Loma Nazarene University.  At the time, conflict had begun in Darfur Sudan, and Mamer was very concerned as it mirrored his own experience as a young boy when the Government of Sudan attacked his home in South Sudan.  Together, with Mamer, we became advocates for the people of Sudan who were and continue to be victims of the Khartoum regime.
